Diwali - festival which is the most popular Indian celebration which is celebrated in different styles of celebration, rituals, and traditions having different stories across the country.

But the main objective of this festival is the joy of sharing and the joy of giving. Following this idea of our , some young city boys walked into the areas which witness darkness even during the festival when the whole city is shining on its peak. This festival of light supposedly bring happiness in lives of people but the children spending their lives in the slum are miles away from receiving this happiness. And the major hurdle in the path of celebration is the poverty and the only aim of life to support the family making them unable to see this beauty of the world. On Diwali eve, some city boys from Aawaam Organisation helped these children to reach that pinnacle of happiness and shared joys between them. These boys give their bit in visualizing a world with no boundaries of happiness and encouraged the children by getting involved in their lives for hours.Boys spread the message of celebrating Diwali without disturbing the nature, brightened the huts and shelters around with candles and diyas making sure that no corner seems to be dark, and shared sweets and other meatables among them. Brightening the colony with few low polluting crackers was a part of the hour too.The camp was arranged by a young community of school students around the city named Aawaam with the help of Skill minds India and Ignited Brain's - an open platform for students to learn '.While talking with Suryakant Verma, Founder, Aawaam, he said,"Nothing can be more bright and shining than the smiles of these children and we promise to keep these broad."
The whole project was precisely managed by the project manager of the team, Soumya Singh Rathour and left us touched by her statement, "If we can't share what we have with others, how can we expect God to share what he has with us"." This is the best way by which I could ever celebrate this festival', said Krishnakant Pandit. Nikhil Raj, Founder, Ignited Brain's, showed his enormous concern and helped in making this project more beautiful. At the same time, active participation of young energies named Yash Agrawal, Greg Galstaun, Vaibhav Chandra, Prachi Srivastava, Vaibhav Singh Rajput, Ranjan Mistry made this camp more adorable than expected.Aawaam is regularly bringing this kind of project in the city involving more and more youth and school students creative awareness and teaching a different perspective of life which is going to make them a good leader, a good citizen and a good human being in future.
